About your fake hosts
Eras is the kind of guy who could spend an afternoon snapping photos of rusted cars in a junkyard and turn them into a gallery-worthy exhibit. He’s proof that passion only gets better with age. Eras fell into photography years ago, capturing candid moments of his kids, neighborhood BBQs, and family road trips. But now, with his kids off doing their own thing, he’s diving headfirst into the art form, exploring everything from dramatic landscapes to gritty urban portraits. While he’s a natural light aficionado, Eras has been known to experiment—sometimes disastrously—with studio lighting. He’s a walking encyclopedia of photography trivia and random fun facts. Although he tries to be cool and project an unflappable demeanor, his discussions with Kam always get him going.
Kam is the kind of photographer who believes that photography is as much about discovery as it is about capturing the perfect shot. She balances her work at a social media agency with a side hustle photographing family and senior portraits. A little nerdy and endlessly curious, Kam is deeply interested in the technical side of photography and starting to get it all figured out, but it’s the artistic possibilities that truly light her up. True to her Nordic roots, Kam has a love for biking and cheese. Although she tries to be as laid back as Eras, her infectious excitement about photography is unstoppable, always leading to lively discussions.
